After obtaining a PhD studying how to design games to more effectively communicate ideas, I toyed around with a few different career paths. Eventually, I returned to one of my earliest loves--writing. Now I split my time between freelance jobs on Upwork and working on my next novel. 

My GameLit stories are inspired by the fun I've had over the years playing RPGs such as World of Warcraft and  Dungeons & Dragons. I hope they evoke the same sense of adventure in you that those experiences did in me.
